BEST GELTAO IN ROME 2020

Updated: May 24, 2020

If you’re wondering where to go to find the best gelato in Rome, then you’ve come to the right place!

We wanted a last little taste of Italy before catching the bus back to the airport and stumbled across this Gelateria close to the main station. It was the perfect finish to a wonderful weekend in Rome.

The signs aren’t super visible and we actually walked past it first, but the bottom level of this building is the gelateria.

LOCATION

It wasn’t until we left and did some research that we found out how well known this dessert place is.They not only have gelato but also do delicious looking cakes and pastries in store.

MENU

We highly recommend a mix of theBiscotto Della Nonna and Yoghurt Mielle E Nociand also theCroccant All’Amarena and Stracciatella Grand Cru. They were the two we had and were unreal!

We didn’t realise until after we ordered, but they also do mix-ins to your gelato: m&ms, choc chips, coconut etc. Similar to ‘Cold Rock’ in Australia.

Right at the back of their shop, they’ve got their own ‘laboratorio’, where they make their gelato in-house, which is so cool to see!

There are also running taps to fill the bottom of your cone before the top it with gelato – sooo tasty!

It’s constantly busy with a reasonable amount of seating inside, and benches to sit outside in the sun too. We could not recommend it more!

Happy little customers!

We walked out of there with full bellies and the perfect last little taste of Roma! Hope this quick guide was super helpful and you have the same, delicious experience that we did – the best gelato in Rome 🙂

Happy travelling! x
